I see my surroundings as a series of components built in various ways and ultimately made to be taken apart.
As appearance gives way to deterioration layers are revealed and opportunities emerge to discover that there is more substance under the surface. Curiosity compels me to explore the textures, forms and surfaces that become available.
After deconstruction of these environments it’s important for me to consider the individual elements. From here I concentrate on reconstructing, rearranging and displaying these objects and materials with an archaeological and geological sense of information, intrigue and discovery.
